Miss Olivia enjoyed her first Halloween (tucked snugly with Nana Clare while big sister Hannah went trick or treating with Dad) as well as her first Thanksgiving. Just before Thanksgiving we had our one month visit to the Doctor (she was in fact a bit over 5 weeks) and determined that she has been eating well!
Her Stats:
Weight - 9 lbs and 8 ozs
a little more than half the weight of the Turkey we roasted for Thanksgiving!

Height - 20.5 inches
She packed on 3 lbs 6 ozs and 2.5 inches since leaving the hospital! No wonder she's been sleeping so much! (She seriously could cork off easily 20 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period for the first 5 weeks). Although at the ripe age of 6 weeks she is starting to demonstrate that she is a sensitive and particular little girl.
She will cry if she has a soiled diaper - in no way will she tolerate any dirties - unlike her big sister who would happily stew in it. When she's not tired - she will sit happily and peacefully for a while - but if boredom sets in - she will give a pretty lusty cry letting us know that she will not be forgotten or un-entertained. At first, she did not enjoy the Baby Bjorn, but she's getting accustomed to it. So much so that she tolerated a 90 minute jaunt to the Ahwatukee festival of lights (in the rare and inconvenient rain that we had that day) as well as a long walk with Hannah and mommy not to mention the fervent floor Sharking extravaganza that mommy engaged in this week.
Olivia does love her bath. Even if she is in the middle of a full on fit while stripping her down, she settles into a Zen like state as soon as her little bottom hits the water. She hates, hates, hates being cold and will wail if she is not toasty enough - making her a natural desert rat. We are waiting with baited breath for the first real smile (not the dimply ones that we get while she's dozing and dreaming of her next feeding session).
